When was the last time you woke up happy?

Me:  The morning of John  Barrowman's concert......

How sad does that make my life, depression and other such things, that the highlight of my year so far was the concert......

I shall away n watch Law & Order SVU now to cheer myself up......well in the absence of Torchwood, I need something to keep me amused, and to keep my  *fangirl* heart a-happy!!

Yay.....happy birthday to crowson75 who shares the same birthday as me!!!

Life is a tad shite at the moment, in order for me to explain it properly I should probably list things that are wrong with my iife:

1.  I am still fuckin unemployed, I hate not working its not entirely about the money, when I'm not working I feel bloody useless!

2.  Following on from No 1, I have no money, how the government expects you to live off 60 qiud a week is beyond me, do they not realise that the rent has to be paid (of which they will not pay it all), bills have to be paid and the cat has to be fed, not to mention lack of money means I have no life outside these four walls, and I'm having to rely on my friends far too much!

3.  Onto the cat, my poor little kitty is becoming scratch that IS a hermit, will she go out of her own free will, NO!  Plus she is becoming bald again, I'm not sure whether its boredom (back to the hermit thing) or whether she has the parasite thing that she had before, which will be a totally bastard, because I have NO bloody money!!

4.  Will this depression ever go away, on the occassions I do go to the doctors, you get the same crap, "take the pills, get some counselling" Pills my arse I have been taking the pills for over a year and all the seem to do is mask the problems, as for counselling, anyone who has ever tried to get a appointment on the NHS will know, you would have to be hanging off the edge of a cliff before anyone would actually notice.  And beacause I am poor I can't afford private therapy!!  i am so sick of feeling sorry for myself, if I was one of my friends I would really slap me hard!

5.  At the moment this seems to be the scariest of all, its only 6 days til I'm 30, I so don't want to be 30, I'm not sure why it scares me so much, I life being in my 20's it gives me rein to act like a fool if I so wish, plus being 30 means accepting responsibilty for all things, which I am so not mature enough for.  I have tried to lie and tell people that I'll only be 28 but will the bams let me get away with it....hell no!  At least strangers won't know, cos apparently I don't look 30.... so that kinda WOO!!

6.  Then there's dealing with another year of anniversaries of deaths, which just start to make me feel guilty for missing one more than another.  The anniversary of my dad has just passed and all it does is break my heart all over again.  i keep waiting for this time where people tell you it won't feel so raw.......BTW still waiting!

So after all this you would tend to wonder what was right with my life, well at the moment I can only think of three things:

1.  I have my so called life, and I'm still going!
2.  I have my truly great friends and family.
3.  Only 6 weeks til I go see the Barrowman in concert....again!!

There may be some other things but at the moment I can't think of any, maybe cos I think my brain has taken a vacation (damn I wish it had taken the whole of me lol).

Have joined the ranks of the unemployed again!!  God I'm such a div!!

Not only that I have started a new diet, (damn those jeans I bought and now want to fit into) no more chocolate for me (well not much choc anyway)  I am so depressed, no job, less food........BUGGER this life!!

Have just seen the advert for Torchwood Children of Earth and I must say *squee*.....I'm looking forward to much more Janto-ness!!

Because I'm @ work and so very bored!!

Been a while since I posted anything on here, so while I'm at work and the call volume is down, I thought I would have a wee play about!!

I am sooooo excited about JB new tour the tickets have been ordered and my friend has been told that she must go....or there will be dire consequences...lol!!! 

Got JB's new album and I have to admit I think it better than Another Side, mainly because the songs that are on it are among some of my favourites, eg Both SIdes, I am What I Am and From A Distance.

Have been missing Torchwood something savage and can't wait for the new series in 2009, I need to get my Janto fix so much that I have been watching the re-runs!!

The new job is going well, although I'm still in some of the old habits from my old workplace, I need to get used to not being questioned all the time and being able to have a relaxed workplace.  Working in a call centre does have its down sides, you can get some truly stupid customers and as anyone who knows me will attest, I do not have enough patience to be spread to all these customers!!  The best one I have got yet tho, has to be the gentleman who called while trying to set up his digi box, I went thru all the checks with him and after about 10 minutes he says "Does my TV have to be on for the digi box to work?" OMFG!!

And why the hell do my colleagues insist on watching the utter PIE that is X Factor!!
